Letterpress Business Cards

So we got our business cards done a few months ago and we’re finally posting about them!  It was a simple design; the main focus being our logo.  We knew we had to get them letterpress printed! Letterpress printing is one of the oldest forms of printing.  Most machines used nowadays date back to the 1800s.  It offers such a classy look and the Crane’s Lettra cotton paper offers a rich texture.  The process makes it a bit more expensive than other printing techniques.  We handed our design over to the letterpress printing company, who then ordered the plates to be made.  Each card is individually made.  Our printer guy Tim had to cut all the cards to size.  One by one, he inked the plate and pressed using the letterpress machine then did that whole process again for each card using the other plate and ink color.

How do you like them? Would you want letterpress printed invitations and/or stationery?
