Simply Chic is a new Special Event Design and Coordination service based in San Diego, California. After planning and coordinating their best friend’s going away party, April Joy Calalay and Ginet Margate wanted to do more. With April’s love for arts and crafts (i.e. scrapbooking addiction) and Ginet’s coordinating background, they decided to partner up and start building a successful business. Together they are the perfect combination that will make your next event the talk of the town.
So in-synch, they’ve been best friends since freshman year of high school when they realized they had the same exact class schedule. As years passed, they’ve maintained a close relationship and coincidentally, the pair both got full-time jobs as engineers for the same company, moved to the same area of San Diego at the same time, and even got puppies with birthdays close to each other! It is with this type of friendship as well as with their attention to detail that they are able to provide the most creative, well-organized, and thorough events and products.
